In the beginning

Beginning my career with a degree in Fashion, Merchandising and Design, I discovered I had a flair for business and an eye for trends. I became a buying consultant for store chains in the USA, liaising between US stores and iconic UK designers of that era including Zandra Rhodes and Bill Gibbs. My retailing experience led to buying and designing for Jean Machine/FU's flagship stores in Bond St and Knightsbridge in the 80's and subsequently my own kids shop on the New Kings Road, Kids on the Green, where the Duchess of York and Paula Yates both shopped for their children.

Meanwhile I had also established a career in styling, advising and re-imaging film stars, pop stars, TV actors and presenters, and sports personalities, in the UK and the USA

Working in the USA

In the USA I worked with many celebrities on ad campaigns and photoshoots: Jane Seymour for Le Jardin de Max Factor, Ringo Starr for Sun Country Wine Cooler and Richard Branson for GQ magazine, and worked with leading film directors including Adrian Lyne, Nicolas Roeg and Alan Parker.
Other personalities I have styled over 25 years include Darcey Bussell, Serena Williams, Shakira Caine, Anna Kournikova, Dannii Minogue and Zara Phillips.

Brand associations

My Corporate brand associations have included Sony, Schwarzkopf, Kelloggs, Lloyds TSB, Deloittes and Longines.

TV & Radio

I have presented BBC’s Ascot Fashion coverage and GMTV’s fashion slots and am an occasional guest Style expert/commentator on Sky and BBC TV News, BBC Radio 5live.

I appear on QVC.UK TV shopping channel each month for the legendary celebrity US designer Bob Mackie "wearable art" fashion range for women who would like to look and feel comfident in their clothes and also be noticed!
